MTW G4 Compact Gas Meter

Description:

Compact gas submeter with pulse output. No temperature compensation is needed, making it ideal for basic gas monitoring in apartments, condos, and small commercial setups.

The MTW G4 uses Sprague #1A top connections, which let you attach standard swivel fittings. This means plumbers don’t have to build a custom connection; it’s ready to go with off-the-shelf parts.

Instead of using tapered NPT threads and pipe dope to seal the connection, this meter has straight threads that seal with a flat washer. This is the same setup used by most city-installed (municipal) meters and helps prevent leaks while making installation easier.
